What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laser Operator position at ExpressPros - Madison?
We are looking for Laser Operators 1st shift for a production facility in Fall River! Come work reputable and growing organization who prides themselves in promoting internally. This large-scale manufacturing plant is temperature controlled and well-lit. Previous experience in production or metals shop is preferred, but longevity at previous positions is a requirement.
Pay: $17-19/hr
Schedule: 1st Shift Monday to Friday, 6am – 2:30pm
**Current OT schedule is 5am – 2:30pm (Occasionally 5 hours on Saturdays)
Responsibilities:
• Operate and setup laser
• Check material thickness for accuracy and load material into machines
• Check parts and quality according to blueprints
• Identify and solve alignment and other issues
• Safely operate forklift to handle materials
Qualifications:
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Previous Machine operating/setup experience
• Laser experience is a huge plus!
• Overall positive and stable work history
