What are the responsibilities and job description for the Robotic Welding position at ExpressPros - Madison?
Our client is looking for Robotic Welders on 2nd and 3rd shifts! Come work for a growing organization who prides themselves in promoting internally. This facility is fully temperature controlled. We are seeking long-term fits for this position; our goal is to get you a job you'll enjoy for years. Training is available for candidates with even basic welding experience.
Pay: $18-20; PLUS $2/hour shift differential once hired on 2nd and 3rd shifts
Schedules:
2nd shift Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm
3rd shift Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am
**May need to train on 1st shift**
Work includes:
- Lift frame manually or using a host
- Inspect and measure machined pieces to verify specifications
- Unload welded frames from robotic welder
- Remove rough spots using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
- Performs all functions involved in operation of robotic welder, including programming, touch point, and operations corrections.
Qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience
- Previous welding experience is a huge plus!
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
