Overall Purpose of the Job
Under general supervision, the Operations Support Engineer continually provides Engineering and Operations with support. The position is responsible for assisting with engineering projects in accordance with Expro's QMS, as applicable.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration.
Key Activities And Accountabilities
Provide Engineering and Operations with support both on land and offshore.
Assist Engineering team with technical project issues and provide insight for improvement and optimization.
Applies engineering and mechanical principles to assist in building, troubleshooting, and testing of PRT equipment.
Assist in project and component drawings and procedures.
This position may require occasional travel.
This position requires offshore work/support
Assist Project Coordinators with technical project issues and provide insight for improvement and optimization
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Other duties consistent with the general nature and focus of the position or as dictated by the Engineering Lead or Principal Interface Engineer
Job Knowledge And Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required
Oil and Gas industry preferred
Preferred CAD
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and SolidWorks
Ability to read and understand technical documents
Capability to effectively communicate with multiple departments in the organization
Strong interpersonal relationship building
Problem solving skills
