Exquisite Events is a high volume, fast paced, exclusive event & design company located in Exeter, RI. We are seeking a dedicated fabric warehouse attendant to join our team! The fabric warehouse attendant plays a crucial role in organizing, maintaining, and managing our extensive inventory of high-quality fabrics. This position requires keen attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle and care for delicate materials. The ideal candidate will be proactive, efficient, and capable of working in a fast- paced environment to support our design and event teams.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of fabric inventory, including receiving, tracking and organizing materials.
- Ensure all fabrics are stored properly, protected from damage, and handled with care to maintain their quality.
- Pull and prepare fabric selections for event set ups, ensuring that all materials meet the required specifications.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing fabrics for any defects, stains or damages. Report and resolve any quality issues.
- Coordinate the movement of fabrics to and from event locations, ensuring timely delivery and retrieval.
- Operate and maintain warehouse tools such as fabric racks, cutting tables and steaming equipment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with delicate, high-end fabrics.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and move fabric rolls and other materials as needed, up to 30lbs.
- Reliable, team oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
