What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Operator position at Exquisite Events?
Exquisite Events is a high volume, high paced, exclusive event and design company based in Exeter, RI. We are looking for METICULOUS, ORGANIZED and HARD-WORKING individuals who like to work with their hands in repairing, painting/staining, pulling, packing and unpacking decor inventory. Offering 40 hours a week. Split shifts available. Opportunity for overtime. Flexibility in days are required. This is a seasonal position starting in April and ending in December. Starting pay is $20/hr.
Requirements:
- Responsible, dependable and punctual
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Can comfortably self-lift 50lbs regularly and team-lift 120lbs regularly.
- Maintain cleanliness of workspace daily
- Following inventory pull-sheets to load or unload delivery vehicles
- Ability to drive a box truck or cargo van to jobsites all over New England
- Inventory tracking, reorganizing, storing then recording
- Stamina for 8-10 hour workday on your feet
Recommendations:
- Basic experience in painting, staining or working with power tools
- Experience working in a large warehouse environment
- Cleanliness and organizational skills in the workplace are key personality traits for this position
