What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Support Analyst position at Extant Aerospace?

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- This is a salaried, exempt position
- Other duties assigned
- Primary point of contact for all kitting functions. Responsible for completing and delivering kits to the manufacturing floor according to monthly schedules.
- Promptly addressing and resolving material issues to minimize delays in production.
- Serves as liaison between planners and operations teams to develop concepts and coordinate product knowledge; provides data analysis for production planning and volume studies; and participates in process/rating improvement efforts.
- Will electronically move units through the ERP and other associated systems
- Works with Operations Planner for shipments; creates Pack Slips and coordinates shipping methods with Shipping Department and/or any shipping requirements.
- May work directly in the stock room providing support to the inventory management, cycle counting and kitting processes.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, prefer bachelor’s degree plus 0-3 years of previous direct industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and build a consensus in a high-pressure environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Prefer proficient in ERP (Epicor)
- Ability to lift and/or maniuplate up to 25 lbs.
