This role will report to the VP of Business Development of Extant Aerospace with the full intention of causing the acquisition(s) and integrations of those acquisitions to be expedient, efficient, and profitable beyond the approved financial model(s). The role is a cross functional role working both externally and internally with all stakeholders in this effort.
Responsibilities of M&A Integration Manager :
Will be responsible for the people leadership of a team of Integration employeesSupport new product line license / acquisition evaluations and due diligence in support of transaction completion and closureDevelop the plan (tasks, cost and schedule) for the integration (Adoption) of all licensed / acquired product lines and ensure the completion of the integrations per those plansDrive the Integration of acquisitions so that all functional department leaders understand their roles and responsibilities during a transition periodAssist with the launch of functional integration teams so they understand their charters and are organized for successPrimary Point of Contact (PoC) for the OEM transition teamBrief the OEM transition team and employees, as appropriate, so that they understand the integration process and their responsibilities and timingEscalate issues requiring senior-level input so they are resolved quickly and effectivelyManage the interdependencies between functions so activities are prioritized and sequenced correctlyEvaluate the risks associated with an integration and mitigate them to the most reasonable extent possibleEnsure exit criteria are metDocument any handoffs to business line leaders throughout the transition periodCapture lessons learned and recommendations for future acquisitionsThe right person will demonstrate the following experience and skills :
Strong project and program management background, including processes, reporting, and project management toolsProven experience getting results in complex cross-functional environments, as well as managing projects in multi-cultural, multi-time zone settingsDisciplined, process-oriented, and loves the details, while seeing the big picture.Collaboration-first mindset, an organizational "connector" that easily works across organizational boundaries. Influencing without authority, and building rapport with senior stakeholders, outside of immediate team.Excellent communication skills, verbal and writtenMinimum Education / Experience :
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field plus a minimum of 5 years direct industry experience in similar roles or an equivalent combination of education and experience.The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree e.g., MBA and closer to 12 years of industry experience in a manufacturing environment.Prior people leadership experience is required, minimum of 3 years, prefer closer to 5Pre-employment cognitive and behavioral testing will be required.Shift
