Summary of Responsibilities:
The Intacct Project Manager position is a temporary full-time assignment. This position is responsible for effectively leading and managing the migration from Timberline Sage (Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate) to Sage Intacct. Extensive experience with ERP migrations, particularly within the construction industry; and a deep understanding of both Timberline Sage and Sage Intacct systems are required. Strong leadership, technical expertise and exceptional communication skills are instrumental in delivering a seamless and successful migration. Key responsibilities include the following:
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resources.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and alignment toward project goals.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to adhere to timelines.
- Establish clear communication channels with key stakeholders, including technical teams.
- Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies through status reports and meetings.
- Conduct detailed analyses of existing workflows and data structures in Timberline Sage.
- Develop and implement data migration strategies to securely and accurately transfer data to Sage Intacct.
- Collaborate with finance teams to map, extract, transform, and load (ETL) data, ensuring data integrity.
- Leverage automated testing tools and processes to speed up data migration, reduce errors, and ensure accuracy.
- Perform fit/gap analyses to identify business requirements and map them to Sage Intacct functionalities.
- Design and implement enhancements in key areas, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Order Management, Purchasing, Cash Management, Reporting and Dashboards, Fixed Assets, Multi-Entity Management, and Global Consolidations.
- Design solutions that align with business needs and Sage Intacct capabilities.
- Conduct system and unit testing to validate functionality and integration.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets business requirements.
- Develop user adoption strategies to ensure a smooth transition to Sage Intacct.
- Deliver training programs and materials for end-users.
- Oversee go-live activities.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate data migration and system performance.
- Utilize automated testing to streamline validation, identify inconsistencies, and improve data quality.
- Ensure financial data, reports, and processes are accurately migrated and functional.
- Assess and enhance current workflows for improved efficiency and scalability.
- Leverage Sage Intacct functionalities to optimize business operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Summary of Requirements:
Ideal candidates for the Intacct Project Manager position possess a minimum of five (5) years project management experience with a focus on ERP system migrations, proven expertise with Timberline Sage (Sage 300 CRE) and Sage Intacct implementation; prior experience with automated testing tools and techniques in improving data migration processes; Microsoft Planner (or similar project management tools) experience; and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or related field. Proficiency with project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, is required. The successful candidate shall further possess strong communication skills for establishing clear communication channels and providing regular and timely updates on progress, risks. and mitigation strategies. As this position addresses complex and multiple issues under time constraints, effective analytical, problem-solving, prioritization and time management skills; and the effective ability to work under pressure are required.
