Are you ready to make a difference? Extended Day Services (EDS) is seeking enthusiastic teachers and assistant teachers to join our amazing team! Our programs, located in district elementary schools across Canon McMillan, Chartiers Valley, Keystone Oaks, South Fayette, South Park, Peters Township, Plum Borough, and Upper St. Clair, focus on STEAM enrichment, homework help, arts, crafts, and sports.
Position Details:
Type: Full-time and Part-time positions available
Hours:
- Full-time: Monday-Friday, Approx. 8am-12pm and 3pm-6pm (varied start/end times) in Plum Borough, Chartiers Valley, and Upper St. Clair
- Part-time: Monday-Friday, Approx. 7am-9am and 3pm - 6pm (varied start/end times) in Chartiers Valley and Monday-Friday, Approx. 3pm-6pm (varied end times) in Upper St. Clair
Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging kindergarten enrichment sessions in math, reading, science, and social studies.
- Facilitate hands-on STEAM projects and provide homework support.
- Encourage creativity through art projects and supervise fun playground activities.
Qualifications/Compensation:
- $16/hour: High school diploma 2500 hours of experience with children OR 15 college credits in related courses 1250 hours of experience OR 30 college credits in related courses.
- $17/hour: Unrelated degree 30 college credits in related courses 1250 hours of experience OR a related degree.
- $18/hour: Unrelated degree 30 college credits in related courses 2500 hours of experience OR a related degree 1250 hours of experience.
Additional Pay: Split shift and part-time roles qualify for an extra $1-$2/hour.
