What are the responsibilities and job description for the Extended School Year Instructional Aides position at Extended School Year Rooms?
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with students preferred specifically students with autism.
A minimum of 48 or more undergraduate credits and/or a paraeducator stipend is required.
Willingness to support children in self care such as: dressing, toileting and eating.
Physical stamina to participate in all activities including education, preparation of activities and materials.
Must be available for entire program and available for training dates.
Must be a good team player, punctual, energetic, parent friendly and have an eagerness to learn.
ABA training is preferred.
Description:
The School District of Springfield Township is seeking candidates who possess excellent interpersonal skills, the desire to work with energetic students, and the ability to relate well within the school community. Position and job duties will be in the discretion of the program supervisor and Director of Special Education and Student Services.
Terms of employment:
Training Dates= June 25, 2025 and June 26, 2025.
Program Dates= July 7, 2025 through August 7, 2025, Monday through Thursday.
5.5 hours per day; 8:45am-2:15pm; additional weekly staff meetings before or after the work day as scheduled by the Supervisor as needed.
