North Reading Public Schools has an opening for an Extended School Year Occupational Therapist. North Reading Public Schools is actively looking to build a diverse workforce to ensure all students feel welcome, safe, and valued for who they are and supported to reach their potential.
This position is for the full five (5) week program from July 7, 2025 through August 8, 2025, Monday through Thursday. Dates of employment and specific hourly schedules may vary in accordance with program.
Essential duties
- Provide occupational therapy services for students in the district during the Extended School Year program
- Complete progress reports at the conclusion of the program for each student
- Collaborate with parents/guardians and Extended School Year educators
Requirements
- Master's Degree
- Valid license as an Occupational Therapist issued by the MA Board of Registration in Allied Health Professions
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations that govern public schools
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience preferred
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
