North Reading Public Schools has openings for part-time Extended School Year Wilson Reading Tutors. North Reading Public Schools is actively looking to build a diverse workforce to ensure all students feel welcome, safe, and valued for who they are and supported to reach their potential.
This position is for the full five (5) week program from July 7, 2025 through August 8, 2025, Monday through Thursday. Dates of employment and specific hourly schedules may vary in accordance with program.
Essential duties
- Provide Wilson Reading tutorial services to students during the Extended School Year program
- Complete end of summer progress report for identified students
- Provide school-based arrival/dismissal supervision
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license in Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities, grades PreK-8 and/or 5-12
- Certified in Wilson Reading
- At least three (3) years relevant experience
Program dates
- Three (3) weeks from July 7, 2025-July 25, 2025, Monday through Thursday
- Four (4) weeks from July 7, 2027-August 1, 2025, Monday through Thursday
- Five (5) weeks from July 7, 2025-August 8, 2025, Monday through Thursday
- Dates of employment and specific hourly schedules may vary in accordance with program
