Housekeeper/Laundry

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custodial work, hospitality, and housekeeping management, ensuring that our facility meets the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Manage laundry operations by washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Follow established procedures for handling hazardous materials and cleaning chemicals.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests by addressing their needs promptly and courteously.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred; experience in hotel or industrial cleaning is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is beneficial.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as required during cleaning tasks.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding hospitality service.

Pay: $11.48 - $12.03 per hour
