We are seeking a energetic, dedicated, and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our Extended Stay team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as well as experience in housekeeping management and industrial cleaning.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to brand standards.
- Perform floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces.
- Ensure all linens are clean, properly stored, and replaced as needed.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or services.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or hotel cleaning preferred.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial practices.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift, including lifting up to 25 pounds.
