POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY |
Preferred candidate will reside in the Charlotte, NC area. Position is hybrid (work from home and onsite at the Corporate office).
The individual in this position is responsible for providing analytical support throughout the enterprise, for producing reports used throughout the enterprise, for providing production assistance with presentation materials, and for gathering and updating industry research. Position will support all aspects of budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis areas; preparing and reviewing a variety of financial data and will maintain and update company financial models.

MAJOR / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Produce and publish periodic performance reporting
- Develop ad-hoc reporting to meet needs
- Assist in all levels of budgeting and forecasting
- Provide assistance with presentations, including monthly operational reviews
- Collect and coordinate various hotel industry research data
- Produce STR Analysis on a regular basis
- Assist in maintaining data attribute tables

- Strong analytical ability
- Innate curiosity
- Mathematical ability, especially relating to financial formulas
- Organization and ability to prioritize
- Excel is a MUST ,Tableau or Power BI
- Oracle/Smartview is a PLUS

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS |
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Minimal overnight travel (less than 10%)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS |
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, MIS, Accounting, Real Estate Finance, Hotel Management, Economics, Mathematics, or similar field
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to communicate clearly in oral and written form with employees at all levels in the organization
- Understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS |
- 1-3 years work experience in financial analysis preferred
- Familiarity with database query and BI systems such as MicroStrategy and Tableau
- Familiarity with ERP such as Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics
