The Role:
The Director of Product and Customer Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive product adoption, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This role is pivotal in ensuring our product positioning aligns with market needs, customer pain points, and our brand’s value proposition.
You Will:
Product Marketing
- Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for product launches and enhancements.
- Research and define the nuances of our Ideal Customer Profile, and educate the organization on their unique needs/wants, etc.
- Craft compelling product messaging and positioning that resonates with target audiences.
- Collaborate with Product Management to identify and prioritize market needs, competitive insights, and product differentiation.
- Create and manage sales enablement materials, including product decks, one-pagers, and battle cards.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
- Build and execute customer advocacy programs, including case studies, testimonials, and references.
- Lead customer engagement initiatives such as webinars, newsletters, and product education campaigns.
- Partner with Customer Success and Sales teams to identify and amplify customer success stories.
- Create targeted campaigns to drive upsell, cross-sell, and renewals.
- Develop and execute strategies for increasing product adoption and reducing churn.
- 7 years of experience in product marketing, customer marketing, or related roles, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of successful GTM strategies and product launches.
- Strong understanding of the SaaS customer journey and lifecycle.
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
- Experience working with tools such as CRM platforms, marketing automation software, and analytics tools.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and optimize campaigns for maximum impact.
- Leadership experience with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
- Supply chain and logistics experience
