General Construction Laborer

Overview
We are seeking motivated and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in a team setting completing various construction projects, assisting skilled craftsmen, and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work as part of a cohesive team in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools under the supervision of skilled workers.
• Help set up scaffolding, ladders, and other temporary structures.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Support skilled tradespeople in tasks such as framing, drywall installation, plumbing, or electrical work.
• Assist with the set-up of construction sites by clearing debris, maintaining organization of the jobsite throughout the duration of the project and ensuring the area is safe for work.

Skills

• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 60 pounds).
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn new skills or continue to strengthen existing skills.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with coworkers and supervisors.
• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
