Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the beauty and health of outdoor spaces, ensuring that landscapes are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing. Duties
- Perform general groundskeeping tasks, including mowing, edging, and trimming lawns to maintain a neat appearance.
- Execute tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and enhance the landscape's visual appeal.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Assist in hardscape installation projects such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls to enhance outdoor spaces.
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns, adjusting as necessary based on seasonal needs.
- Regularly inspect gardens and landscaped areas for health issues or pest problems, implementing appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects efficiently while adhering to timelines and quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with lawn care practices, including fertilization, aeration, and weed control techniques.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in landscaping tasks.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and garden maintenance best practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
