Role Summary/Purpose
Annaly, through our wholly owned subsidiary, Onslow Bay Financial LLC, is seeking a Whole Loan Operations Analyst who will be responsible for assisting in the weekly residential mortgage settlement process. Knowledge of loan documentation is a plus and attention to detail around various data elements are paramount.. The Whole Loan Operations Analyst will be working in a fast-paced environment and communicating with numerous correspondent sellers.
The Whole Loan Operations Analyst will be involved in all aspects of purchase transactions. These responsibilities include circulating of closing documents, funding memos, warehouse files, wires and allocating trades internally as well reporting variances to the Trading Desk in NYC.
Essential Responsibilities

Facilitate funding schedules, circulate closing documents and closing e-mails and settling trades internally

Generate data tapes, aggregate loan information and coordinate wire details for warehouse pledging

Assist in coordination of servicing transfers between sub-servicers and sellers, 404 notices, MERS and any issues between deal closure and onboarding

Work with Due Diligence firms on validating data and researching anomalies
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
-
0-2 years of experience in the residential mortgage whole loan space (specifically whole loan collateral, whole loan fundings and post close reviews)

Interest in Real Estate and/or Financial Markets.

Prior servicing, credit or diligence experience is a plus

Bachelor’s Degree required

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Ability to process numerous data elements and documents

Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with Senior Management regarding the progress and results of projects and initiatives

Ability to work effectively under time constraints

Must be willing to submit to a background investigation

Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

Must be willing to work additional hours as needed to complete deadline driven projects

Must be able to work in person at least three days per week in Dallas
