Job Duties
- Perform diversified duties to install and maintain machines and all company facilities.
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting and repair of machines.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment
- Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment
- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
- Perform a variety of general facility upkeep procedures and functions.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Detect faulty machinery, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Time management includes maintaining an organized scheduling and tracking system, to effectively complete all maintenance requests in a timely manner and in the order by which they were received or by level of urgency.
- Maintain current and in-depth knowledge of all safety policies and standards related to position. Work in a safe manner and recognize unsafe situations, take appropriate action to ensure safety of self and others in building.

Requirements
- 2 year certificate from college/technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2 years relevant maintenance experience and/or training
- Knowledge of industrial electrical, control, and instrumentation systems
- PLCs Experience Preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain VFDs and HMIs
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as maintenance/manufacturing manuals and blueprints
- Ability to use electrical and electronic test instruments as well as a full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to perform equipment inspections
- Ability to use hand tools and trades type tools
- Availability to work a flexible schedule to include days, afternoons, midnights, and/or weekends up to 12-hour shifts
- Ability to repair, rebuild, or overhaul equipment
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
Work Environment:
Work environment involves moderate risks or discomforts which may require special safety precautions working around moving machines in production facilities, Protective clothing or gear such as goggles, gloves and shoes may be required. Must be able to work in a cold environment. Works with a moderate degree of supervision.
Physical Demands:
Work requires some physical strain such as long periods standing and walking in production facility, and lifting of moderately heavy items. Other physical demands include climbing, crouching, and reaching.
