Veterinary Technician

Come join our small friendly veterinary practice located in beautiful central Chester County PA. We are an established dog and cat exclusive small animal practice that has been in the area for 35 years with the current owner/veterinarian for the past 19 years. We strive to provide the best care for our clients and patients and work closely with local specialist to provide the best care available. Dr. Shannon's primary interests are rehabilitation, internal medicine, dentistry, general wellness and routine surgery. We are also very community oriented actively contributing to and supporting local charities including: Horse Power for Life, To Love a Canine Rescue, The Domestic Violence Center of Chester County, Rise Together Cancer Foundation, Bark for Life and the American Cancer Society.

We are currently looking for a full time or part time certified/licensed Veterinary Technician to join our family. We are looking for a team player with compassion.

The skills that you will be utilizing include but not limited to:

• venipuncture
• Client Education and Discharges
• catheter Placement
• X-rays
• anesthesia monitoring
• surgical preparation and assisting
• dentistry with Digital Dental X-rays
• laboratory work with full Idexx in-house and Antech send out
• pharmacy
• veterinary rehabilitation (CCRP Training available)
• technician appointments for: nails, anals, lab work, laser therapy
• patient recovery
