Location: Waco

Description:
The Branch Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success and growth of our branch. This position requires a multifaceted skill set, as it involves leadership, operations management, and a strong commitment to employee development, sales and service excellence, and compliance. This position is responsible for cultivating a dynamic and customer-centric environment, driving business growth, nurturing a high-performing team, and ensuring that service standards are consistently met. The Branch Manager serves as a leader, motivator, and catalyst for achievement, contributing to the bank's reputation as a trusted financial institution in the community.
 
Responsibilities that we would like for you to be excited about: 
• Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills. 
• Build relationships with our team through regular 1on1s to connect and guide. 
• Create development plans for employees to assist in establishing career paths.  
• Foster a positive work environment by leading by example and maintaining open communication with team members.
• Actively seek feedback from team members and implement improvements to enhance workplace satisfaction.
• Be a working manager and set the example for your team while helping customers with transactions.
• Build a network of business contacts and attend community events to increase the bank's visibility and attract potential customers.
• Build and maintain a Premier customer portfolio through active relationship building.
• Lead our SWARM Banking approach, which involves greeting customers by name and greeting them as they walk into our lobbies. 
• Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain customers, fostering business growth.
• Set clear performance goals and objectives for the branch in alignment with the bank's overall targets.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve and exceed sales targets and customer service goals.
• Analyze performance metrics and implement strategies to improve sales and service.
• Assist in managing the branch budgets, controlling expenses, and maximizing profitability.
• Take ownership of the aesthetics and structure of branch/facility.

Experience and Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma. 
• 5 years of retail banking experience required. 
• 5 years of manager experience required in a banking or retail environment with direct oversight of employees. 
 
Qualifications that would be a plus:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or finance 
• Certifications or designations obtained in leadership.
