Facilities Supervisor Job Description
Location: Temple, TX, 76501
Education Requirements: High School Diploma required. Trade experience is required. Certification of a specialized field: i.e., electrical, plumbing or carpentry.
Experience: 5 years of relevant maintenance experience is required.
Knowledge Requirements: Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems is necessary. A valid Texas Operators driver's license is required. Needs to possess good communication skills to work with various employees, tenants and vendors. Supervisory skills are required in planning, scheduling, budgeting, negotiating and controlling cost. Assists Facilities Manager in the evaluation of maintenance programs involving current or new facilities. Must be able to juggle special projects that are assigned along with the normal job responsibilities. Typically reports to Facilities Manager.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift or move objects up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend or stoop occasionally. Ability to walk, sit and climb frequently. Position requires travel to all Bank facilities on occasion.
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8-5, some weekend and after-hours on occasion.
Training Expectations: Attendance at workplace safety and compliance workshops. Annual CE Course for renewal of State required trade license.
Duties Performed in This Position
Critical Tasks
- Assist in performing a variety of semi-skilled and skilled maintenance and repairs to buildings.
- Works independently and relies on experience and judgement to accomplish job.
- Performs a variety of service work in one or more specialized building systems, such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
- Performs a variety of tasks and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Performs security, facilities and building maintenance equipment reviews to ensure good operations.
