The BI Report Developer is responsible for the reporting and analysis of data to support decision-making across the EMCS organization. This role develops reports and dashboards, working with department leaders such as merchandising, operations, and sales to identify growth or at-risk opportunities and trends. Some of the key responsibilities include designing and developing user-facing reporting utilizing the Microsoft Power platform, fielding and prioritizing requests for additional functionality, and assisting users in understanding complex data/reporting.
Some of what you’ll do as a BI Report Developer:
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Hybrid environment of remote and in office. Occasional On-Site Office Visits as Needed.

Some of what you’ll do as a BI Report Developer:
- Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools
- Ensure reports are user-friendly, visually appealing, and meet business requirements.
- Work closely with business units to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users for effective report utilization.
- Maintain documentation for reporting processes, access, data models, and system configurations.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all reporting outputs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field: required.
- 2 years of proven experience in BI report development or a similar role.
- 2 years of proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- 2 years of experience in BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
- Able to contribute and direct innovation and troubleshooting for other related departments for cross coordination of large projects and complex business impacting service issues
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to anticipate issues before they arise, and proactively suggest big-picture solutions
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with several priorities while being flexible to shift priority
- A track record of anticipating customer needs and giving high priority to customer satisfaction service
- Outstanding organizational skills and excellent customer service skills with an analytical mindset
