extravagant kidz after-school is an out of school time (OST) program that offers affordable, supervised care for children in grades K through 8th grade. Care is available during the school year from the time the students are released from school until 6:30 p.m.
We offer full-day OST camps during school holidays, breaks and Summer.

Full Job Description: This is a part-time, year round role. Full-time hours are available during holiday camps.
Available Shifts:
All shifts Monday-Friday
Afternoon shift between 2:45 PM-6:45 PM
As a Group Leader with extravagant kidz after-school, you have the opportunity to make a difference in a child's life. Our blended curriculum model focuses on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), Applied Arts, and S.T.E.M. As an extension of learning we offer various Club throughout the year.

Your Role: To considered for employment, applicants must
- Be at least 18 years of age; proof of high school graduation/GED equivalent required. Some college hours preferred;
- Have exceptional customer service experience;
- Have reliable transportation or means to arrive to work on time;
- Be available to work anytime between published shifts;
- Be flexible and able to adjust daily routine or work schedule based on the needs of the program;
- Be knowledgeable or have experience with activity and lesson plans;
- Be knowledgeable about the developmental stages of children;
- Be knowledgeable of Texas Minimum Standards for Afterschool Programs;
- Be self-motivated, able to work under pressure and possess excellent interpersonal skills;
- Have the ability to apply common sense, understanding, and sound judgment to carry out essential functions.
- Have the ability to instruct children and manage their behavior;
- Have the ability to communicate in both verbal and written forms with staff, children and parents;
- Have strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude;
- Be able to handle multiple tasks and receive directives from multiple supervisors;
- Have CPR and First Aid training or willing to get upon hiring;
- Provide a clear background check;
- Perform any and all other duties deemed necessary.
Job Type: Part-time, hourly
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, d.o.e
Schedule:
2-4 hour shifts per day, Monday to Friday
Experience:
Childcare - 1 year (Preferred)
Applicants should have a minimum of one-year successful experience in a state regulated child care facility or educational setting required.
