Duties
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, frame straightening, and panel replacement.
- Conduct thorough vehicle assessments to determine repair needs and provide accurate auto estimating.
- Execute auto glass replacement and repairs as necessary.
- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primer as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to complete repairs efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working with various materials and equipment.
- Engage with customers to explain repair processes and address any concerns they may have.
Skills
- Proficient in vehicle maintenance and auto body repair techniques.
- Knowledge of auto estimating processes and systems.
- Experience with auto glass installation and repair is a plus.
- Familiarity with auto painting procedures and materials.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process.
- Previous experience in a dealership setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
