Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems including computer networking, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems (IDS). This role requires a strong understanding of technical schematics and the ability to work with various hand tools and computer hardware. The Low Voltage Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive top-notch telecommunication services.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems including CCTV and IDS.
  • Read and interpret technical schematics to ensure accurate installations.
  • Utilize hand tools and computer hardware effectively for system setups.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to computer networking and remote access software.
  • Adhere to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during installations.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.

Experience

  • Proven experience in low voltage system installation and maintenance is preferred.
  • Familiarity with computer networking concepts and practices.
  • Experience working with telecommunication systems is a plus.
  • Certification in low voltage or related fields is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using remote access software for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
