Maintenance Technician

Extreme Construction is a reputable residential and commercial construction, remodeling, and maintenance company servicing the Anchorage and Eagle River area. We are looking to add additional skilled technicians to our team!

Full-time hours with overtime availability. We are scheduled through the fall and winter months into summer of 2025. We have expanded our location, fleet, and are looking for additional team members to join our crew. RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Maintain work schedule for time efficiency

-Ensure on time daily reporting for accuracy and completion

-Promote safety and use of Personal Protective Equipment to minimize exposure to work place injury

-Preform service repairs and system maintenance on electrical, plumbing, boilers, sump pumps, HVAC, appliances, etc as directed by the General Contractor

- Preform carpentry, drywall patching, painting, etc as directed by the General Contractor

REQUIREMENTS:

-Ability to work independently without supervision or minimal supervision and have the knowledge and experience to 1) assess and identify work orders, 2) inspect and/or repair damage, and 3) report activity accurately

-Ability to work as part of a team

-Punctuality and reliability to preform duties as assigned

-Working knowledge of residential and commercial building codes preferred

-Minimum of (5) years of proven experience in the areas of Carpentry and Remodeling, Residential and/or Commercial Maintenance.

-Must have valid driver's license with reliable transportation and consent to a driving record check

-Willing to travel to multiple work sites

- Must be able to lift 60 lbs.

-Employee must supply basic tools. Company to supply specialty tools and equipment.

Experience must be verified and new employees are subject to mandatory training internships.

Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance
- Proficiency in troubleshooting maintenance issues
- Experience in residential construction and carpentry
- Valid driver's license and ability to supervise tasks effectively

SCHEDULE

Our crew works year-round - ability to work overtime is preferred.

Monday through Friday is standard; however, Saturdays are subject to management approval based on workload of any given week. Occasional holidays and emergency jobs based on on-call rotations (Lead technicians are subject to on-call rotations).

INTERVIEW

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
