Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES).
This position requires expertise in conversational programming, machine operation and maintenance of a Vertical Machining Center as well as efficient execution of the machining process.
Responsibilities
- Operate Haas VF-series VMC for machining of aluminum and copper components.
- Troubleshoot and execute initial machine/part setups.
- Set up tooling and materials to support machining production.
- Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) on fabricated parts.
- Perform routine maintenance on all shop equipment.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited high school (or valid General Educational Development certificate).
- Ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Experience with Haas VF series VMC is a plus.
- Ability to use precise measuring equipment to perform FAIs.
- Computer proficiency and high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs on a regular basis.
