About the Role
X-ES is seeking a highly experienced Technical Program Manager to drive the development of complex electro-mechanical and software technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day leadership to successfully develop technologies that align with our company's strategic objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive state-of-the-art technical solutions among cross-functional teams and suppliers
- Develop schedules, maintain task definitions, and direct cross-functional meetings
- Direct and organize cross-functional problem-solving and maintain technology development goals and requirements
- Identify and communicate program risks
- Understand and challenge complex engineering decisions and timelines
- Be a hands-on leader who achieves success through modeling best practices and a service attitude
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a strong background and experience in electrical, mechanical, or software engineering
- Minimum 13 years of applicable professional experience in engineering for the design and development of complex technologies
- Minimum 7 years of applicable professional experience in managing the development of complex technologies
- Highly skilled in developing, driving, and maintaining complex technology development schedules
- Experience working with suppliers to deeply understand their capabilities
- Ability to exercise a high degree of judgment, pragmatism, and creativity to accomplish goals
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
