Extreme Machining LLC is seeking a shop assistant for our growing fabrication shop. In this entry level position, the shop assistant will primarily be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety within the shop, as well as assisting with various tasks and projects as needed. Full-time and part-time hours available. Visit us at www.extrememachining.net.

Requirements : Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience in a fabrication / manufacturing shop or metal / wood shop classes
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift 50lbs

Responsibilities

  • Sweep shop floors, remove trash in shop, and maintain shop cleanliness daily
  • Clean and maintain equipment
  • Utilize measuring instruments such as tape measure, calipers, and micrometers
  • Use hand grinder and other various hand tools
  • Operate machinery such as drill press and band saw
  • Assist co-workers with tasks when needed and be a team player
  • Perform other reasonable tasks when necessary
  • The responsibilities are not limited to this list

    • Schedule for Full-time

  • Monday-Thursday 6am-4 : 30pm
  • Overtime available
