What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at Extrusion Technology Group?
Extrusion Technology Group is a custom extrusion house providing our customers nationwide with extruded specialty products. We have been in business for over 20 years and are currently in the process of expanding our business. A brand new facility is currently under construction and will be ready for production within the next few months.
Currently seeking QA Technician
Main duties include: Checking parts for quality, putting away production material.
We are hiring for Night shift (10PM - 6AM) and Swing shift (2:PM to 10:PM)
but may require overtime as necessary to complete daily tasks.
Qualifications:
Need someone with quality experience.
Ability to read a tape measure and calipers.
Attention to detail is a must.
Some computer skills are desired, familiarity with MS word and Excel
Previous quality experience preferred.
Well-organized, attentive to details and able to work independently
Flexible, able to handle multiple tasks and assist multiple Departments
Able to bend and lift 50 pounds
Safety oriented - Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at ALL times.
Excellent attendance (ability to arrive to work on time as scheduled)
