We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Controller / Analyst to support our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while driving process improvements through technology. The ideal candidate has strong ERP reporting experience, advanced Excel skills, and a passion for problem-solving in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and corporate compliance.
- Analyze inventory accounting and cost analysis to support operational decision-making.
- Support financial team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to align with business goals.
- Analyze, report, and forecast monthly production, labor, and inventory variances.
- Maintain inventory and internal controls to enhance the efficiency of internal control reporting.
- Support compliance with external and internal audits, tax regulations, and other financial reporting requirements.
- Utilize technology to identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization to support business objectives and financial strategy.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 2 years ERP reporting experience including data aggregation, building custom reports, and BI integration.
- Strong software skills and experience in integrating software applications.
- Expert level Excel skills – should be proficient with troubleshooting and creating complex formulas as well as spreadsheets.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must have ability to work independently as well as cross functionally.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- 2 years professional experience in a Manufacturing Accounting.
- CPA license.
