Job Summary
Exxelia is a global leader in the design, development, and manufacturing of high-performance electronic components. This role is responsible for performing a variety of fabrication tasks that support production. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment, handling various materials with a strong attention to detail.
Duties
- Cut, shape, and assemble materials according to product specifications.
- Perform wire bending, cutting, and shaping to meet design requirements.
- Assist in hand assembly and preparation of components for further machining or final product assembly.
- Inspect fabricated materials for accuracy, defects, and adherence to specifications, escalating issues to Quality Assurance as necessary.
- Safely use hand tools, measuring instruments, and cutting equipment to complete fabrication tasks.
- Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and safety guidelines to ensure consistent and high-quality output.
- Work closely with machinists and other production team members to support manufacturing operations.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
Required Skills & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with hand tools, measuring devices, and fabrication equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.
