Job Overview
Exxelia is a global leader in the design, development, and manufacturing of electronic components. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Operations Coordinator to support our dynamic manufacturing team.
This role reports directly to the Master Planner and involves managing all activities associated with purchasing and planning of manufacturing goods and services. The ideal candidate will have intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, and high school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
- Purchasing Transaction Management: Prepare, approve, and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in Sage MRP system.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Engage in regular communication with suppliers, negotiate pricing, quality standards, and delivery schedules, and facilitate product validation processes.
- New Supplier Identification: Collaborate with sourcing team to identify and evaluate new and alternative suppliers for specific commodities and/or custom designs.
- Inventory Accuracy: Partner with Production staff to maintain inventory accuracy in Sage MRP system for automatic re-order points.
