Main Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical and mechanical configurations for custom transformers, inductors, filters, and other magnetic components.
- Leverage computer-aided modeling and simulation methods to analyze design trade-offs and optimize component performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development, including communication with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams.
- Analyze data from experiments and simulations to identify areas for improvement and recommend cost reduction strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in power electronics and magnetics design tools, providing recommendations for their adoption and implementation.
- Participate in daily team meetings to review project progress and discuss challenges and solutions.
- Develop and implement plans for project completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Develop initial concepts for magnetics solutions, including related manufacturing processes, and work with suppliers to create cost-effective designs.
- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, safety, and consistency.
- Develop control plans and test circuits for new magnetics products, including custom electrical testing.
- Participate in problem-solving sessions and contribute to the development of solutions for complex engineering challenges.
- Support assigned projects, guiding design reviews and ensuring successful product launches.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing teams and resolve production-related issues.
- Attend training sessions to stay current with best practices and company policies.
