The Claim Specialist is responsible for supporting the Project Claim Management team with the fulfilment of important tasks and duties relating to claims matters on the project. The position reports directly to the Project Claim Manager(s) with accountability to the Project Claim Director and Regional Business Unit (RBU-US) Claim Management leadership.
The purpose of this position is to manage and lead the claims management job duties and functions as listed below with the overall objective of managing, coordinating, and implementing the project claims strategy and execution plan; establishing an execution framework that ensures compliance with contract terms, strategically protects and positions Exyte commercial success, and provides team members with the skills, tools, and support required to deliver best-in-class program/project lifecycle commercial results.

Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities
- Supports and assists with the implementation of Client claims and risk mitigation strategies in partnership with Exyte project, regional and corporate stakeholders.
- Researches, gathers, sorts and prepares datasets in support of claims preparation and defense.
- Takes and prepares meeting notes as needed.
- Challenges and tests datasets in collaboration with Claims Management team members and other supporting Functions.
- Prepares and maintains document logs and registers required in supports of claim issues.
- Assists with the preparation of data and reports required for presentation to internal management and stakeholders.
- Maintains accurate claim records documentation, and status updates in the claim management process.
- Supports claims issues with the project team members.
- Ensures compliance to applicable Exyte policy and procedure.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or related equivalent.
- Industry working experience with a focus on claim management support.
- Any working experience in a relatable setting or industry is preferred.
- Ability to navigate in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated safety excellence and champion the Exyte safety protocols and mission.
- Develop strong problem-solving skills with a focus on driving continuous improvement in change management processes.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good organization and interpersonal skills – detail oriented, meticulous and conscientious.
- Has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
