Exyte U.S. is seeking a Davis-Bacon Compliance Officer to oversee and manage compliance with contractual and federal regulatory requirements, including the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, the Copeland Anti-Kickback Act, and the Buy America Act for large-scale, high-tech construction projects. Reporting to the General Counsel – Americas, this role will play a critical part in ensuring project compliance through the development, implementation, and leadership of a comprehensive compliance program. Responsibilities include document collection, field interviews, contractor coordination, and regulatory reporting to Legal & Compliance, project management, project owners, and relevant agencies.

Exyte U.S. is seeking a Davis-Bacon Compliance Officer to oversee and manage compliance with contractual and federal regulatory requirements, including the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, the Copeland Anti-Kickback Act, and the Buy America Act for large-scale, high-tech construction projects. Reporting to the General Counsel – Americas, this role will play a critical part in ensuring project compliance through the development, implementation, and leadership of a comprehensive compliance program. Responsibilities include document collection, field interviews, contractor coordination, and regulatory reporting to Legal & Compliance, project management, project owners, and relevant agencies.
Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with federal labor regulations affecting large-scale construction projects.
- Coordinate the collection and review of certified payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct routine audits, verify payroll reports, and perform on-site worker interviews to confirm wage compliance and proper payroll deductions.
- Investigate worker complaints, conduct site visits, and ensure adherence to prevailing wage laws and labor standards.
- Implement and maintain compliance records, prepare reports on compliance status, and ensure documentation meets legal and contractual requirements.
- Develop and deliver training on compliance obligations for project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Assist in creating compliance policies, procedures, and manuals to align with contractual labor agreements (CBA/PLA).
- Work alongside the Labor Relations Lead to apply regulatory changes, maintain best practices, and liaise with the Department of Labor as needed.
- Provide guidance on materials sourcing and regulatory adherence related to Buy America requirements.
Show Your Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, the Copeland Anti-Kickback Act, and the Buy America Act.
- Experience implementing construction compliance programs, particularly during project start-up.
- Expertise in public works construction or construction management compliance programs.
- Understanding of state and federal labor laws and their application in construction projects.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Requires 30% travel to project sites throughout the region.
