The Director Project & Construction Management (DTC) will be a key leader responsible for driving the success and professional development of the Company’s Data Center construction management team. This role focuses on optimizing construction delivery methods, maintaining best practices, and ensuring the continuous development of the construction management community. The Director will lead a broad range of strategic initiatives to improve construction processes, provide mentoring and career development opportunities, and ensure the implementation of industry-leading construction management systems. This role is focused on the DTC business area.

Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities
Leadership & Development
- Develop and maintain regional construction management performance expectations, including mandatory safety protocols and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide career development, mentoring, coaching, and support to the construction management community.
- Lead the development and delivery of both technical and soft skills training for construction management professionals.
- Create and sustain an internal career path program to ensure a consistent pipeline of skilled construction management professionals.
- Support the Regional Business Units (RBUs) in performance management and provide troubleshooting and recovery support during project execution.
- Identify, implement, and continuously improve cost-effective and scalable construction management processes, systems, and software.
- Partner with estimating and project controls teams throughout the project lifecycle to align goals and ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with construction management processes and best practices across teams.
- Drive the continuous improvement of construction management systems and workflows to optimize productivity.
- Identify and implement best practice construction delivery methods across engineering, design/build, EPC, EPCM, and CM projects.
- Stay informed on industry trends and incorporate innovative approaches into construction execution.
- Foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement within the construction management team.
- Work closely with senior leadership and various departments to ensure alignment of construction management goals with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with peers, business leaders, and external partners to support the business and its project goals.
Minimum Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- OSHA 10 certification required (OSHA 30 preferred).
- 15 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a Director-level or senior leadership position.
- Proven experience leading large, diverse construction organizations with a track record of success.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and delivering construction management training programs.
- Significant experience with multiple construction delivery methods (engineering, design/build, EPC, EPCM, CM).
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Strong background in delivering projects through diverse and complex construction delivery models, particularly Mission Critical projects.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor teams, delivering results in a matrix organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Deep knowledge of the Mission Critical sectors
- Self-starter with innate sales orientation, optimism, and drive; good organizational skills.
- Hands on approach with a strong commitment to customer service, collaboration and continuous improvement
