The Procurement Expert is responsible for the development,
execution, and administration of the procurement plan. Will
work with the Construction Manager, Project Manager, and Design
Manager to develop a procurement plan to meet project and
business objectives; including but not limited to: cost,
timing, and quality. Will also be responsible for driving the
procurement activity from supplier identification, rf(x)
development and administration, and source to pay function.
- Designs and administers the procurement plan from supplier identification, through rfp solicitation, sourcing, contract negotiation, and P.O. creation
- Responsible for the overall development of the procurement plan
- Pre-qualifies suppliers and subcontractors
- Complies with all applicable processes and procedures
- Closes coordination with peers in construction, engineering, and project management
- Resolves disputes among Exyte related groups and suppliers
- Negotiates terms and conditions with supplier and subcontractors to minimize risk impacts

- 5 years of Procurement / Sourcing experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related required
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred
- Apics Certification preferred
- Experience working in Procurement in manufacturing, energy, oil & gas, high tech or construction environment
- Experience working in projects in a construction / project environment preferred
- Project management experience is desirable
