Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities
Learn and Support Mechanical Engineering Projects:
- Shadow experienced engineers on diverse mechanical design-build assignments to gain real-world insights.
- Perform basic calculations, assist in engineering analyses, and support project development using specialized computing software.
- Help coordinate project personnel activities to ensure projects remain on schedule and meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflows and meet project deadlines.
- Support the design of utilities and HVAC (wet/dry) systems for high-technology facilities, including cleanrooms, manufacturing/process facilities, and institutional buildings.
- Provide specialized technical input to design studies and engineering tasks under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Assist in reviewing and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
- Take on other assigned duties to support the mechanical engineering team and broader project goals.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Junior or Senior standing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
- Previous internship experience in a project team environment is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and engineering software.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain information confidentiality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A strong desire to learn, adapt, and contribute meaningfully to the team's success.
