Join our team as a QA/QC Intern and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety on our construction projects. This role offers hands-on experience in quality assurance and control processes, providing valuable insights into the construction industry while supporting the success of our Quality team.
Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities
Quality Validation and Compliance:
- Assist in validating final installations to ensure compliance with design documents and regulatory codes.
- Collaborate with the QA/QC team to maintain and improve quality standards on site.
- Support the enforcement of the company’s Safety Policy, demonstrating diligence and prioritizing safety in all activities.
- Participate in identifying and addressing potential safety issues on-site.
- Attend kick-off and clarification meetings with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure alignment on quality expectations.
- Participate in quality meetings with owners and subcontractors, contributing to discussions and action plans.
- Provide assistance with various QA/QC tasks as assigned to ensure project quality goals are met.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance project outcomes and maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Junior or Senior standing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
- Previous internship experience in a project team environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and QA/QC processes is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a commitment to contributing to the team’s success.
