The QA/QC Inspector located in Richardson, TX is responsible for inspections of installed or partially installed process piping systems and monitors the handling of materials in compliance with the construction site / project quality assurance program.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of Exyte Group, Total Facility Solutions (TFS) provides solutions that are designed to deliver mechanical, electrical, and process piping systems to all markets. As a specialty process piping and wet mechanical contractor, we provide facility construction services for leaders in advanced technology and biopharma. We are a privately held specialty contractor operating nationwide, with more than $200 million in annual revenue and 1,000 employees.

The QA/QC Inspector located in Richardson, TX is responsible for inspections of installed or partially installed process piping systems and monitors the handling of materials in compliance with the construction site / project quality assurance program.
Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities
- Performs material inspection
- Performs weld inspection
- Performs installation inspections
- Conformance / non-conformance reporting
- Performs hydrostatic pressure test
- Performs pneumatic pressure test
- Performs inboard helium leak detection
- Performs outboard helium leak detection
- Performs particle sampling analysis
- Performs trace moisture and oxygen analysis
- Documents and archives per published TFS procedures
- Performs Borescope video inspections
- Creates Safety Observation Reports
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3 years of experience
- Piping quality experience on semiconductor and pharmaceutical construction projects preferred
- American Society for Non-destructive Testing (ASNT) Level II required
- Certified Welding Inspector a plus
- Field quality inspection experience required
- Experience in construction, process equipment or piping industries
- Must have had experience on construction sites
