The Senior Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing, coordinating, and overseeing the preparation of
conceptual and detailed estimates for various complex projects. Will direct the quantitative development of
material, labor, and subcontract take-offs, as well as the coordination of information among Engineering,
Procurement, Construction, and project teams
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Develops the estimate plan and coordinates estimate development with the project team
- Prepares Work Package Estimate breakdowns in conjunction with the project team
- Leads the development of the total project estimate; detailed and / or conceptual
- Prepares the total Project Basis of Estimate
- Prepares the Estimate Risk Analysis and makes cost contingency recommendations
- Analyzes and makes independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and / or project objectives and guidelines
- Supports preparation and Presentation of Project Estimates to Executive and Client management Teams
- Supports vendor and subcontractor solicitation, pre-qualification and coordination of pricing
- Reviews subcontractor and vendor bid packages
- Other duties as assigned
