What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist/Front Desk position at Eye Associates of Central Texas?
Seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist for a very busy Ophthalmology office in Round Rock. Applicant must be out-going and compassionate with patients, organized and detailed oriented & comfortable in a fast paced environment with changing priorities. Must be able to multi-task and be self motivated.
Medical experience preferred
Travel may be required
Job Duties:
- Assist in checking in and checking out patients with a positive attitude.
- Answer multiple phone lines in a polite and professional way.
- Schedule appointments for patients.
- Medical Data Scanning
- Verify Insurance Eligibility
- Act as a liaison for the patients and the practice.
- Directing calls to other departments as needed.
- Handling billing and insurance questions.
- Perform all duties and services in a professional manner.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
