Salary Range: $16.00 - $ 19.00
Hours: Monday - Friday anywhere within the hours of 6:30am -5:00pm

Job Description:
As a Patient Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients seeking healthcare services. Your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for patients and their families. You will assist with scheduling appointments, managing patient inquiries, and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction: Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a welcoming environment.
- Appointment Scheduling: Manage and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of provider schedules.
- Information Management: Accurately collect and enter patient information into the system, including demographics, insurance details, and medical history.
- Patient Assistance: Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, providing information about services, procedures, and insurance coverage.
- Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits, assisting with pre-authorizations when necessary.
- Billing Support: Provide information regarding billing procedures and assist patients with payments.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers and all staff to facilitate efficient patient flow and care.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and office software.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare practices.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Minimum Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED obtained
This position requires excellent attendance as there is minimal back up. All time off request should be submitted with a 2 week notice unless unforeseeable.
