The Patient Services Representative Job Duties May Include :
- Contact patients prior to their appointments to obtain correct insurance and demographic information for preparation of their medical charts
- Accurately enter patient information into the computer
- Check for valid insurance plan referrals
- Verify co-payments; copy insurance cards
- Check the patient out after the visit
- Collect appropriate payment and issue receipts
- Complete financial / payment arrangements for lab patients
- Batch daily registration forms
- Complete daily cash reports
- Answer patient questions.
