What are the responsibilities and job description for the Eyecare Front Desk Patient Care Coordinator position at Eye Associates?
PT /FT front desk position available. Preferred experienced eye care office patient care coordinators but will train. Should have working knowledge of vision and medical insurances if possible. Experience with eye care office computer management and electronic medical records preferred. Exceptional people skills with a friendly demeanor is a necessity. Must be willing to work as a cooperative member of a caring team of healthcare professionals. Will also train for choosing, measuring and dispensing eyeglasses and Contact Lens teaching.
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- We use Eyefinity Pm software
- Organize and schedule the doctor's schedule
- Submit and reconcile claims with insurance companies
- Provide general support to our patients
Schedule: Monday 7:00 AM-3:00 pm, Tuesday 9:00-4:00pm, Wednesday 9:00-6:00 pm, Thursday 9:00-4:00 pm, Friday 9:00-4:00pm. We can offer one less day (either Tuesday or Thursday off if needed). No Weekends, no late work after 6:00 pm
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour based on experience
