Optometric Eyecare professional
PT front desk position / optician positions available. Previous eyecare / Optometry office experience preferred but will train candidate with right skill set. Should have working knowledge of vision and medical insurances or be willing to learn. Experience with eyecare office computer POS system (we use OfficematePM) and electronic medical records preferred. Must be willing to work as a cooperative member of a caring team of healthcare professionals.
Because we are a small office, we like to make sure our employees are flexible and are cross-trained for choosing, measuring and dispensing eyeglasses and contact lens instructional training, too. Selling eyewear also requires filing e-claims for vision care. Additionally, we will teach you to assist with office technology like Visual Field testing, OCT imagery and using Optomap retinal camera. Duties include answering phone calls, scheduling appointments for patients.
Pay: $20. - $25.00 per hour based on experience

Monday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm*
Tuesday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (flexible)
Wednesday 9:00 am -6:00pm*
Thursday 9:00 am- 4:00 pm (flexible)
Friday 9:00 am- 4:00pm*
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Eye/medical office: 1 year (preferred)
- Medical terminology: 1 year (preferred)
- Computer skills: 1 year (Required)
