Job Title: Optometric Technician – Energetic, People-Focused, Quick Learner Wanted

We’re looking for a full-time Optometric Technician who’s friendly, dependable, and ready to dive into a role that blends patient care, admin, and hands-on clinical work.
No experience? No problem! We’ll train the right smiling face.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Greet and guide patients through pre-testing and case history
- Assist doctors with exams — including scribing in our EHR system
- Educate patients about treatments, prescriptions, and contact lenses
- Train patients on contact lens insertion/removal
- Perform diagnostic testing (like retinal photos or visual fields)
- Order contact lenses and handle patient scheduling
- Verify insurance benefits and help coordinate referrals
- Pitch in wherever needed — you’re a key player on our care team!

Qualifications-Not Required but these are a plus!
- Knowledge of ophthalmology and medical terminology
- Experience in a medical office setting is preferred but not required
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
- Basic knowledge of EHR systems and retail sales is a plus
